Local PMB – Registration for Testing
OKTE, a.s. invites market participants to participate in the testing of the local PMB (Price Matching Broker), which will be deployed as part of the local solution for the day-ahead auction with effect from 1 November 2026.
The deployment of the local PMB will ensure that, in the event of activation of the local mode — for example, in the case of complete market decoupling or disconnection of the Slovak bidding zone — the same algorithm as used in SDAC (Single Day-Ahead Coupling) will be applied to calculate the results of the day-ahead auction.
The local mode will support all product types available on the day-ahead market, including 15-minute MTU products, Exclusive Group Orders, and Loop Block Orders.
Testing Schedule
The testing will take place according to the following schedule:
- 14 October 2026 – Decoupling of the SK bidding zone – local auction
- 15 October 2026 – Decoupling of the SK bidding zone – local auction
- 16 October 2026 – Contingency day

The testing will be carried out in the TEST environment, which is intended for testing pre-production versions of the XMtrade®/ISOT system.
Registration
Market participants interested to participate in the testing are requested to send an email to market@okte.sk with the subject: “Local PMB – Testing – Registration”
The email should include the following:
- A request for access to testing in the ISOT system and a valid certificate ( if access to the TEST environment has not yet been established)
- The email address to be used for receiving notifications during the testing
The registration deadline is 13 October 2026, EOD.
The objective of the testing is to validate the functionality of the local PMB, including the processing and matching of orders in local mode, prior to its deployment into the production environment.
