National energy mix (2025)

The National Energy Mix represents an overview of the shares of individual energy sources in the total electricity produced or supplied. It is published based on the obligation of OKTE, as pursuant to Act 251/2012 Coll. 6 letter about). The national energy mix serves the supplier to determine its energy mix (the share of individual sources of electricity in the supply) for that part of electricity that is not substantiated by the applied guarantees of origin in accordance with the relevant regulations.

The supplier may increase the share of one type of resource for a given final customer only if it is proved by the guarantees of origin applied in favour of the given customer.

The national energy mix was determined on the basis of the methodology of the Association of Issuing Bodies ("AIB"), which is available on  the  AIB website . This methodology is used by all participating countries. More information about the calculation and “best practice” can be found on this link along with yearly results for all AIB member states.

The national energy mix below is the final result for year 2025 from data available up to 31st March 2026.
