Announcement of the MCCG Meeting – 22 October 2026
OKTE invites market participants to the upcoming online Market Coupling Consultative Group (MCCG) workshop, which will take place on 22 October 2026, from 09:00 to 12:30.
The workshop will provide an update on the development of European electricity market coupling within the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) and Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) and offer an opportunity to discuss upcoming developments and key initiatives.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- the status of SIDC Corrective Measures and the XBID 5.0 release
- the first year of 15-minute MTU operation in SDAC, including product usage and algorithm performance
- planned improvements to SDAC fallback mechanisms, including volume allocation and upcoming training sessions for market participants
- the latest developments regarding the 30-minute intraday cross-zonal gate closure time (IDCZGCT)
- the planned introduction of Storage Orders in SDAC
- the IT infrastructure study, the latest SDAC-SIDC roadmap and key projects,
- updates on consultations concerning the SDAC Project Methodology and the Algorithm Methodology amendment for the incorporation of Flow-Based allocation into Intraday Auctions (IDAs)
