Change in Publication of Day-Ahead Market Results

OKTE, a.s. announces that in connection with the introduction of the 15’ MTU project, the following changes will apply to the publication of day-ahead market results:

What is changing?

Number of periods per day
Results that have so far been published in hourly blocks (24 blocks per day) will, as of the go-live of 15 MTU, be published in 15-minute intervals (96 intervals per day).

Published information available
On the OKTE website, price and traded volume charts will now be published for each 15-minute interval. Matching curves will also be provided for each 15-minute interval.

Example of website publication:

Change in data export
The data export into tables will be adjusted to reflect 15-minute trading intervals.

Units of volume
Volumes will be reported in MW (instead of MWh), while prices will remain in EUR/MWh.

API services
The structure of responses will remain essentially the same, but the time span between deliveryStart and deliveryEnd will be 15 minutes instead of 60 minutes.
The value of the period attribute will now range from {1..96} (for regular days).

Go-live date

The 15 MTU project is planned to go live on 30 September 2025, with the first delivery day in 15-minute intervals on 1 October 2025.

Information on Exceptional Situations

In exceptional situations where, due to technical problems, the day-ahead market switches to local matching for the Slovak bidding zone, all published outputs (results, exports, matching curves, and API data) will be published in a 60-minute trading interval, and participants will be informed in advance.
