Third auction for guarantees of origin
On May 6th, 2021, OKTE, a.s. successfully conducted the third electronic auction for guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources and guarantees of origin of electricity produced by highly efficient cogeneration. The auction was announced according to the valid rules 14 days before it on the 22.04.2021.
Guarantees of origin in the total amount of 741 675 MWh from solar and water sources entered the auction. Auction participants could place orders for guarantees of origin according to the type of source and according to the life category 0 to 3, 3 to 6 or 6 to 9 months.
The event was attended by 6 entities and guarantees were traded in the amount of 467 740 MWh. The minimum price was at the level of 0.12 EUR / MWh, the maximum price was at the level of 0.32 EUR / MWh and the average price reached the value at 0.17 EUR / MWh.
OKTE, a.s. plans to organize auctions for guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources and guarantees of origin of electricity produced by high - efficiency cogeneration with a three - month periodicity.
