Second auction for guarantees of origin
On February 4, 2020, OKTE, a.s. successfully conducted the second electronic auction for guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources and guarantees of origin of electricity produced by highly efficient cogeneration. The auction was announced according to the valid rules 14 days before it on the 21.01.2021.
Guarantees of origin in the total amount of 720,755 GWh from solar and water sources entered the auction. Auction participants could place orders for guarantees of origin according to the type of source and according to the life category 0 to 3, 3 to 6 or 6 to 9 months.
The event was attended by 4 entities and guarantees were traded in the amount of 229.4 GWh. The minimum price was at the level of 0.11 EUR / MWh, the maximum price was at the level of 0.25 EUR / MWh and the average price reached the value at 0.17 EUR / MWh.
OKTE, a.s. plans to organize auctions for guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources and guarantees of origin of electricity produced by high - efficiency cogeneration with a three - month periodicity.
