Confirmation of acceptance of guarantees of origin by the account holder
Procedure for setting up access to the ZPE system
Only producers or suppliers of electricity can apply for access to the system of registration of guarantees of origin ZPE. Before starting work with guarantees of origin certified by the Association of Guarantors (AIB), it is necessary to sign an Agreement with OKTE, as on activities related to the issuance and use of guarantees of origin and general business conditions.
Before handling Non-AIB guarantees (especially guarantees previously issued by ÚRSO and guarantees from non-AIB countries), it is necessary to sign an Agreement with OKTE, as on activities related to the issuance and use of guarantees of origin for guarantees of origin from non-AIB countries. In the case of a new applicant, the electricity producer or electricity supplier will sign the draft ZPE Contract and send it to OKTE, as, no later than 30 working days before the expected date of entry into force of the Contract.
Issuance of a guarantee of origin, its transfer, application in the AIB system and participation in the auction are possible only after opening an account in IS OKTE. In the case of recognition and transfer of guarantees of origin from non-member states of the AIB, OKTE, as establishes a special account.
The producer and supplier of electricity is obliged to verify the data registered by OKTE, resp. submit additional data to OKTE, as. If it confirms the correctness of the data registered in the OKTE IS or eliminates the discrepancy, OKTE, as will confirm these data within 30 working days and assign a unique identifier to the registered electricity generation facility.
The electricity producer is obliged to re-register the electricity generation facility every 5 years.
